The Club is also displaying their FA prize of training balls, pump, bibs and bag which they won for the Women's world cup competition.

The girls have now played five matches in the Scarborough Minor League with Pickering girls joining for the last two. The results however have not reflected the girl's effort, commitment and their sheer enjoyment of playing football

Heslerton U.12's Girls 1: Hunmanby Girls 6

The game started really well with the Heslerton Girls battling and tackling courageously. Gemma Brown was brilliant in goal pulling off some tricky saves and showing some good goal kicks. Leah Caffrey and Katie Edwards were solid in defence and stuck to the attacking team throughout the match. Tor Quilter worked the defence brilliantly pulling of some brilliant rescue football which denied the Hunmanby girls getting through. Jenny Adams and Ellie Harrison were the double act to stop the play in midfield when things got tough and denied a few attempts by the Hunmanby strikers. Sian Midgley was brilliant up front and with the help of her co-striker Rachel Miers, who won the player of the match, they definitely troubled the Hunmanby defence. Rachel was unfortunate and could have had at least four in the back of the net, however, her hunger and enthusiasm to get up front and score was impressive. She managed to bang one of her well deserved efforts in the back of the net. Runner-up player of the match was Molly Beach who tackled, ran and passed brilliantly, playing some entertaining football which the watching coach and crowd really enjoyed.
